1 x FN 509 Compensator
- 7075 Aluminum finished in a type 3 class 2 hardcoat anodize.
- No set screws, mounts like a muzzle device on a rifle.
- Designed around the FN factory threaded barrels (1/2 x 28) but will work with others that have the same threads. (Gap may vary)
1 x Shim Kit:
- 4 x 0.010″ Shim
- 2 x 0.005″ Shim
- 1 x 0.002″ Shim
- 1 x 0.05mL Vial Loctite 272

The PMM Compensator uses a proprietary mounting system much like what is found on all modern rifles utilizing a combination of shims and proper timing of the compensator in relation to the Pistol slide.
Additionally, the PMM compensators utilize a single port design at the 12 O’clock position which maximizes the effectiveness of the compensator in keeping the muzzle of the pistol down and allows the slide to “track” faster and more accurately for follow up shots.
During testing the PMM compensators were designed to work with most factory loaded ammunition but will yield the best results with a +P or Nato spec cartridge. We have adapted our designs to integrate with and complement the design of your pistol so no longer does a compensator have to look like an afterthought slapped on the end of your pistol, Rather it Delivers unmatched performance and looks.
Recoil Reduction:
The 509 duty comp was designed to work with most factory loaded ammunition and yields and average 30-35% reduction in muzzle climb with 115gr UMC

I recently bought an FN 509 Tactical to match my SCAR 17. I was looking for a comp to put on the front but all the other companies offered comps that did not look very good on the front. I watched many reviews on different comps and the best rated one was the PMM. After it arrives I promptly installed it on my 509 following the instructional video. While I was at the range it performed flawlessly. I would recommend getting a red dot as it works perfectly with this comp. I have made all known modifications to my 509 and the PMM comp is definitely a great addition. I have friends who have other comps for the 509 and the PMM comp performs and looks the best. The only problem I encountered was with the metal shims but it turns out that was due to my own negligence otherwise the installation process was flawless. Thank you PMM for the great comp.

Great compensater , for me I had to put the light spring rod in my 509T but definitely gets you back on target faster , less felt recoil plus it looks bad ass !!

Functioned flawlessly just like in the YouTube video. Worked with any ammunition even 115gr. Ball ammo with the light recoil spring in the gun. It really works well on the +p loads to take the recoil. A little blue loctite and it hasn’t budged after 500+ rounds of rapid fire shooting. Highly recommend this product! I’ve tried several others prior to this one and they were all inferior in design and performance in comparison. Money well spent!

Best on the market. Simple installation and not held with cheap screws. Designed how a comp should be with noticeable recoup reduction. Would buy it all over again in a heartbeat.
