1 review for PMM Baseplates for Smith and Wesson M&P 9
Rated 3 out of 5
Anthony (verified owner)–
These are machined very well, do hold 4 more rounds, and look very nice with the pistol but I had about a 90% failure rate to get slide lock on an open magazine with an otherwise new factory 17 round mag in a fullsize M&P9 2.0. There appeared to be very little spring pressure in the last round and empty mag from the factory spring. Buying an $8 +10% power spring from Wolff completely fixed the issue. Only three stars since I had to buy a spring from another source to get proper function in my duty weapon. I do much prefer these to competitor products since there is less of a height penalty over the factory mags. PMM should offer an extra power spring as part of a kit with this for those who care about slide lock, even if it’s an extra cost option.
