The PMM polymer adapter creates a secondary buffer between the FNSCARยฎ endplate and the PMM 1913 aluminum back plate to mitigate unwanted harmonics into the upper receiver assembly.
Unlike some other products on the market, PMM’s 1913 back plate & adapter gives you the ability to change your stock while maintaining OEM integrity of the buffer system. You now have the option of swapping out your OEM SCAR stock for a variety of folding stocks without compromising your weapon system.
Installation is simple, and the backplate is compatible with any 1913 hinge or stock adapter.
The PMM 1913 Back Plate is two pieces– impact resistant polymer and sturdy 6061 aluminum type III hard coated in black or FDE anodize, only weighing 3.5 oz.
Make a bundle by adding a Sig Sauer 1913 hinge– either run a PMM stock, or use our buffer tube adapter for use with M4 style stocks
(Please note, if using our Buffer Tube Adapter, you will need a mil-spec M4 receiver extension and castle nut)

Almost the same design as OEM but with a couple improvements. PMMโs has tighter tolerances and fits with no side to side movement. The other improvement, that also helps keep the back plate and adapter tight, a bolt is used to hold it together instead of a pin. I think the use of a bolt is more convenient to take it apart.
