PMM 1/2 x 28 drop in replacement barrel for use in Walther PDP Steel Frame pistols. Add a thread protector, or one of our duty comps at a discount!
Barrel Specs:
- Material: 416 Stainless Steel heat treated to 38-42 HRC
- Rifling: Standard
- Twist: 1/10
- Thread pitch: 1/2 x 28
- Caliber: 9mm
- Coating: Black Diamond Like Coating (DLC)
Optional Add Ons:
- Thread Protector & O-ring (styles vary)

- 7075 Aluminum finished in type III class 2 hard coat anodize in black

Fit and finish is excellent and the threading was done well, my suppressor doesn’t loosen up as quickly compared to others. I’ve only fired 150 rounds of 124 grain ball through this so far, all with a Silencero Octane 9 HD. I tried 18 rounds of Federal HST 124 Grain +P suppressed and had a couple of malfunctions, but I’m not sure if that is just barrel break-in related or an issue with my booster getting dirty. Overall I’m happy that there is finally a threaded barrel option for PDP steel frames. My only grip would be the loaded chamber viewing hole, I’d prefer not to have that there since it seems to help make the optic dirty faster.

I dislike aftermarket or 3rd party threaded barrels. At least that’s my experience, they are often sub-par. However, PMM’s Walther 5” Steel Frame PDP barrel felt different right as I opened it. It dropped in and I dare say it functions better and/or feels better than my factory barrels. Curious what other barrels you make. Appreciate the communication and turnaround with my situation. Well done.
