The PMM Oversized Bolt Catch Paddle gives the shooter more surface area on the bolt catch to engage during magazine changes.
With two options of offsets, you can configure the release to your preference with an offset towards the muzzle and one offset towards the stock. The forward offset is better suited for right handed shooters, while the rear offset is better suited for left hand shooters. But either work better than a standard release.

I have a 12.5” colt SBR with an ambidextrous PDQ bolt catch. It has a standard sized bolt release knob on the left side of the rifle. I purchased the black forward canted oversized paddle attachment hoping to aid rifle manipulations when wounded or wearing gloves. The PMM Oversized Paddle was just the ticket. Machined aluminum and simple design make for a quick efficient install with blue Loctite, with a solid lock up. This paddle functions flawlessly on my duty rifle and I use it regularly as an instructor for my agency training for patrol carbine. If you have a ambi rifle with proprietary parts that will not allow an upgrade to something like the Geissele Maritime oversized Bolt Catch Release, then this is a fantastic option and gives you all the functionality. 100% recommend this is duty grade.
