1 x FN 509 Compensator
- 7075 Aluminum finished in a type 3 class 2 hardcoat anodize.
- No set screws, mounts like a muzzle device on a rifle.
- Captured design ensures that even if your comp comes loose it will not come off or impede function.
- Designed around the FN factory threaded barrels (1/2 x 28) but will work with others that have the same threads. (Gap may vary)
- Technology born and improved upon from our PMM X-Comp pistol.

The PMM Compensator uses a proprietary mounting system much like what is found on all modern rifles utilizing a combination of shims and proper timing of the compensator in relation to the Pistol slide.
Additionally, the PMM compensators utilize a single port design at the 12 O’clock position which maximizes the effectiveness of the compensator in keeping the muzzle of the pistol down and allows the slide to “track” faster and more accurately for follow up shots.
During testing the PMM compensators were designed to work with most factory loaded ammunition but will yield the best results with a +P or Nato spec cartridge. We have adapted our designs to integrate with and complement the design of your pistol so no longer does a compensator have to look like an afterthought slapped on the end of your pistol, Rather it Delivers unmatched performance and looks.
Recoil Reduction:
The 509 duty comp was designed to work with most factory loaded ammunition and yields and average 30-35% reduction in muzzle climb with 115gr UMC

The fit, finish, and machining are 10/10! The reduction on recoil is very noticeable, double taps and Mozambique drills are really only dependent on how fast you can aim and pull with this set up. Double tap holes are touching each other as fast as I can go at 10 yards. You’ll really appreciate these products if you’ve been shooting pistols a while.

Order was delivered very fast, and was packed nicely with the exact shims and Loctite as specified . Comp. has a good quality finish and is machined to a tight tolerance, looks and feels good. There is a decent amount of recoil reduction and point of impact change was minimal. Over all a solid product, I will be purchasing another in the future and will be recommending this company to other people.

Really great looking comp, machined well and super lightweight. It does a have a very noticeable reduction in how much the gun moves from shot to shot. Follow ups are more accurate, and the speed to get back on target has improved as well. It does what PMM says it can do. Outstanding product. Buy 2
