- 7075 Aluminum finished in a type 3 class 2 black hardcoat anodize
- No set screws, mounts like a muzzle device on a rifle.
- Captured design ensures that even if your comp comes loose it will not come off or impede function.
- 13.5 x 1 LH Metric designed around the H&K factory threaded barrel for the VP9 tactical OR 1/2 x 28 designed around the SilencerCo threaded barrel (may work with others that have the same threads)
1 x Shim Kit
- 4 x 0.010″ Shim
- 2 x 0.005″ Shim
- 1 x 0.002″ Shim
- 1 x 0.05mL Vial Loctite 272

Recoil Reduction:
All of our compensators are tested in a ransom rest and measured with a digital inclinometer.
The PMM VP9 comp was designed to work with most factory loaded ammunition and yield 30-35% reduction in muzzle climb (with 115gr UMC)

Excellent machine work, proper edge breaks, good thick hard anodize. It clocked a little bit more than prescribed but worked out in the end. Comes with a vial of Rockset and all the shims you’ll need.

Not first purchase from PMM or my last. Jarod and his team do great work. The compensator for the VP9 is no different. The VP9 inherently has more muzzle flip versus that of a Glock. The compensator definitely mitigates much of the felt recoil. Machining is excellent and installation is easy. I highly recommend this compensator. I have also had no reliability issues after doing some testing of my own with at least 2000 rounds. This is not on my daily carry gun as well. Thanks Jarod. There you will see that Jarod is constantly doing testing on his various products versus a lot of these companies that just machine parts for “looks” and “aesthetics.”

This is an awesome comp! One of the reasons why I enjoy this product is the fact that it stays within the same profile for the holster you might already have. I did realize I had to do a little custom fitting to my safariland that is meant for a VP9 and x300 Surefire body. I had to heat the end of the holster so the extended portion of the comp would seat into the holster, not much of a big deal and not rocket science to figure out. But if you have an open ended holster for a VP9 (I.e. like an incog, or sidecar or LAS) you should be fine.
Installing the comp was a breeze just make sure to have a vise and vise jaws, grab those before you install or else you’ll be too impatient and just scratch up your comp(I would know)
Shooting is a noticeable difference and before this, I had a EFK dragon extended potted barrel and muzzle weight from hkparts, and that setup was awesome but couldn’t find holsters. But this comp keeps the gun flat and honestly you’ll find that the gun comes back on target very fast. I tried shooting from the hip, point shooting, and running and gunning, and I have no problem knowing that this gun works more intuitively when it snaps back on target.

This comp looks great and shoots even better! Works well with regular pressure 9mm, and noticeably better with NATO or +p ammo. Accuracy unaffected. Recommended.

I have purchased many comps and to be honest I have been less than thrilled with the results…until I found this comp! I didn’t have to buy extra springs or try a bunch of diff kinds of ammo for it to run effectively. If you are looking for a streamline comp that works. Look no farther. This was my first purchase from PMM and it will not be my last. Going to pick up one for my G19x next.
