Product Details
These clamshell tools are precision waterjet cut out of HDPE for a precise and tight fit that conforms to the lines of our of compensators, preventing damage to the finish of the compensator.
Simply press in your PMM comp, tighten the tool down into your bench vise, and begin the installation process.
To help aid with finding the proper pretension of the compensator before applying threadlocker, our “Muschi” line of clamshell tools include a front sight post cutout. When the proper pretension is found, you will be able to see the front sight post through the cutout.

Great product to keep comp in good shape during install. Darn near a must for the 509 due to the angles on the comp.

This was my first build so I needed all the guidance I could get. Between the shim kit , the mounting block, and PMM videos it went together like a glove. My p320 is by far the best gun I own now. Definitely worth the money!!!!

PMM customer service (CS) is excellent! First, I was installing a P226 compensator and realized I wanted the Muschi 🙂 . I did not find it on website for P226, called CS and was informed to use P320 Muschi. Received Muschi quickly and began install resulting in another call to CS as the shims would not fit over barrel. Informed that shims stack on the end of the threaded P226 barrel using the included alignment tool. Trial and error I figured out shims required utilized Muschi sight alignment aid applied included thread locker and torqued into alignment. I am not an armorer however process was not difficult thanks to CS.
