I hate the feel of plastic controls on an expensive gun, so initially I installed a Talon safety for my SCAR. It was okay. I didn’t care for the shape of the selector and it was still kind of short. I went back to the factory safety and put on the Ergo style selectors here. They’re MUCH better. They’re a fair bit longer than factory which I like. The shape and everything feels just right. The finish looks like it came on the rifle which I like. I do shoot from a bench at times and for whatever reason, sometimes will sweep the safety off like an AK so I thought maybe I’d do long selectors on both sides. But when normally holding the rifle, the extra length makes it hit my hand. Not ideal. PMM was kind enough to let me do an exchange so I have long lefts and short rights. The shorts again, are still longer than the factory FN ones. They feel just right.

I like the design and look of the dimpled version. It grips anywhere your thumb contacts it. The relief in the middle is nice to slightly hook your thumb around as you rotate the safety, because of this I think you could work the dimpled safety without slipping off in an unfortunate event that your lower was covered in mud and wet. Functions good with or without gloves. Anodizing matches FN’s. Not a fault of PMM but I chose one small and one large, the large safety was too long for me and both short will be perfect. I said about it to PMM and they are exchanging it without a problem. Good customer service as well.

Yeah these selectors are awesome. Simple as hell to install. I chose the large ones for both sides with the dimples in black. Look sweet and quite functional. I’m a lefty (not a libtard cuz I have a few braincells) and I like leaving my left hand on the pistol grip while accessing the lever with my thumb and with these big chonky selectors, I can perform the motion perfectly. Besides a great trigger, quality ambi selectors are my next best accessory for a rifle and this pair are fantastic
