Enhanced duty magwell appears very well made and installation is a breeze. As far as what a magwell is supposed to do, this only works for half of it. It does help provide a good solid grip, pushing my hand up high on the grip, providing a solid grasp of the pistol. It does not have any “ramp” assisting in reloads. This is the main reason for a magwell in my opinion and this is where this item falls way short. For the price, it’s not worth it. Also, Hyve extended mag base plates will not fit with this magwell. But with most magwells, you usually want/need at least extended base plates to help seat or pull mags out on loads/reloads. An aftermarket magwell without a ramped surface up to the pistol’s actual magwell doesn’t assist with reloads therefore doesn’t do its primary job.

It installed in seconds and gave my hane a great resting area. My hand is a little bit large so it provided the perfect amount of pressure to squeeze my fingers between it and the trigger guard. I have put around 400 rounds through it and it seems to have added a good bit of control to my draw and repeatability of my hand placement. I would recommend that everyone get one of these.
