Machined in-house out of T6-6061 aluminum, the PMM Rail Elimination Panels are a low profile and light weight solution to completely eliminate the factory rail sections on your SCAR 16 or 17 while still maintaining the use of the Captive Torx bolt on the front “horseshoe” receiver carrier on the Legacy SCAR 16/17.

I purchased these side rail elimination panels for a SCAR 17. I wanted to reduce the cheese grater effect of the factory rails while keeping it light, so I didn’t want to just slap covers over the rails and add weight. I installed the PMM lower rail elimination panel as well, along with the battery assist device PMM makes for the SCAR. My rifle is black, so I ordered black panels and went with the dimpled ones as they are slightly lighter (ounces make pounds you know). I am very happy with the end result. The hand guard is cleaned up, lighter, and far more comfortable. Installation was no problem, and I still have the full factory top rail if I decide I need to add any additional doo-dads. I would recommend these products to anyone looking to modify their SCAR while keeping it light.

Super high quality. Fairly easy to install (worst part is removing fn factory loctite). One of my screws was slightly different than the others…PMM immediately sent me a whole new set out and all is perfect. Great product, don’t hesitate to buy!
