Machined in-house out of T6-6061 aluminum, the PMM Rail Elimination Panels are a low profile and light weight solution to completely eliminate the factory rail sections on your SCAR 16 or 17 while still maintaining the use of the Captive Torx bolt on the front “horseshoe” receiver carrier on the Legacy SCAR 16/17.

I am happy with the rail delete panels. I am using the MI rail extention, and I kept had trouble stripping the front aluminum yoke using the oem barrel screws, since the barrel screws are under spring tension, it made it difficult to tell if the screws went in cross or not. Long story short, Pmm uses their own front barrel yoke screws, which to not use the factory spring retention, making installation much easier. I also torqued these screws to Pmm’s 30inch pounds of torque, as opposed to MI’s 45 inch pounds, which seemed a little excessive for aluminum yoke. I hope this helps somebody else in similar situation.

Installing was a breeze, PMM video was a big help. Follow the torque values! Vast improvement over the factory plastic rails if don’t have a need to mount anything. Sleek design is great, and looks awesome with the ERGO DIMPLED option!
