- 7075 Aluminum finished in a type 3 class 2 hardcoat anodize.
- No set screws, mounts like a muzzle device on a rifle.
- Designed around the FN factory threaded barrels (1/2 x 28) but will work with others that have the same threads. (Gap may vary)
1 x Shim Kit:
- 4 x 0.010″ Shim
- 2 x 0.005″ Shim
- 1 x 0.002″ Shim

The PMM Compensator uses a proprietary mounting system much like what is found on all modern rifles utilizing a combination of shims and proper timing of the compensator in relation to the Pistol slide.
Additionally, the PMM compensators utilize a single port design at the 12 O’clock position which maximizes the effectiveness of the compensator in keeping the muzzle of the pistol down and allows the slide to “track” faster and more accurately for follow up shots.
During testing the PMM compensators were designed to work with most factory loaded ammunition but will yield the best results with a +P or Nato spec cartridge. We have adapted our designs to integrate with and complement the design of your pistol so no longer does a compensator have to look like an afterthought slapped on the end of your pistol, Rather it Delivers unmatched performance and looks.
Recoil Reduction:
The 509 duty comp was designed to work with most factory loaded ammunition and yields and average 30-35% reduction in muzzle climb with 115gr UMC

Purchased the PMM 509 comp, for my New 509, the machining was spot on and looked perfect on the pistol. The compensator actually does help my 509 topped with an RMR stay internet and the recoil impulse us reduced quite a bit, follow the installation instructions on the website and you’re all set. I really enjoy shooting the PMM comp on my 509.

Looks like it came from the factory with the 509. Fit and finish is top notch. Followed the installation instructions on youtube. Take your time and install it properly and you wont have any problems. I have two 509s and only one that’s got the comp and I can definitely tell the difference in follow up shots. Pistol functioned perfectly through all 500 roudns. Not sure if it’s just me but it feels like a softer shooting pistol. I’m thinking about putting it on my other 509 because its so good. Wish they had an option to add a photo.

Absolutely the best compensator on the market for the FN 509. Runs every grain weight (115gr up to 150gr) ammo I feed my 509 without any issues at all. I am extremely pleased with it.

This compensator performs as advertised providing noticeably less recoil and muzzle flip. It looks great on the pistol and has held its position. In fact if there is one thing to “not like” about it it’s the fact that removing it is not going to be just a simple matter of unscrewing and then reinstalling it. It would be easier to clean the pistol if it did just unscrew and then reattach but like I said, it holds its position very well, so the only thing to not like is one of the things that make it most desirable.

Well machined product but would love some sort of instructions in the packaging. Had to google around how to install and eventually found it on your site. Even a small card with the youtube link would help.
