By adding a 2″ of rail extension to their standard or SBR length SCAR 16 or 17, a shooter gains the much needed space to extend their support hand while still maintaining access to the SCAR’s gas block.
Our PRE matches seamlessly with the FN factory picatinny rails at the 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions.
The PRE has been machined in-house out of T6-6061 aluminum and then hardcoated per military standards. The PMM PRE is a low profile and lightweight solution to mounting mission essential accessories on the SCAR 16/17. PMM machined additional vent slots into all of the picatinny rails to lighten the PRE and also enhance the rifle’s ability to cool-down after sustained strings of fire.

None of the pic rails on the extended rail lined up correctly with the factory pic rails on the scar making it impossible to mount any attachments (that don’t come apart) past the extended rail that weren’t added prior.

The rail is a great extension so you can get your arm further out and is extremely sturdy. I have a scar 17s with a Pws rail extension and this one is just as good if not better. The installation was easy and straight forward and I look forward to shooting more with it.

Returned as it was to short for my CQB SCAR 17 with 13.5 barrel. The pictures on website are all showing on the shorter barrel SCAR 16. Was looking for one that would just clear the suppressor as pictures displayed. I confirmed this with e mail prior to ordering but one I received left 2 1/2 inches of barrel exposed after suppressor mounted. Had to pay return shipping and charged restocking fee even though it was never even installed just removed from box.
Would be great addition for 16 CQB but can’t recommend for the 17 as it doesn’t give you the needed length for extended grip.
