By adding a 2″ of rail extension to their standard or SBR length SCAR 16 or 17, a shooter gains the much needed space to extend their support hand while still maintaining access to the SCAR’s gas block.
Our PRE matches seamlessly with the FN factory picatinny rails at the 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions.
The PRE has been machined in-house out of T6-6061 aluminum and then hardcoated per military standards. The PMM PRE is a low profile and lightweight solution to mounting mission essential accessories on the SCAR 16/17. PMM machined additional vent slots into all of the picatinny rails to lighten the PRE and also enhance the rifle’s ability to cool-down after sustained strings of fire.

I have used the PWS and the MI. Both are too long, in my opinion, and make access to the gas plug more difficult. They are also multi-part units with additional screws.
The PMM is the perfect size and the helicoiled screw holes don’t require any additional parts.
It is just long enough for mounting a light far enough forward for comfortable activation with a mid-rail vertical grip.
It is just long enough for a Tango Down or Atlas bipod to not interfere with stock folding.
And perfect for an AAC silencer on a 10″ barrel.

Like the quality of the product. Dislike the FDE color on this product. Wish I had chosen the color black. Installation and fitment on SCAR17s are good to go. Provides a nice extension on 1913 rail. Would buy again.
