Easy to install. Went with the 1.7 for my 10inch Scar 16 barrel and it runs like a champ.

I use this in an unmodified SCAR17S. The original jet has a flat screwdriver slot and appears to be made from steel. It looks like it might be difficult to remove if it’s very carboned up. I thought the SS would be better long term. The original jet size 1.5mm. I changed to a 1.4mm and it worked fine. Because I feel that the SCAR has a fairly sharp recoil impulse compared to other 308 semi-autos, I wanted to try a custom made 1.35mm jet. It also worked fine and reduces recoil slightly. I’m happy with it. Next time I order, I may try a 1.3mm and see how it functions and feels. I usually shoot with a suppressor on the suppressed gas valve setting. BTW, it also still functioned w/o the suppressor on the suppressed setting with the 1.35mm jet. I believe it’s an inexpensive upgrade, however, your results may be different with your gun.

Works better than the stock screw and is MUCH easier to remove and install. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy one if you want to adjust the gas system.
