Product Details

The PMM Compensator uses a proprietary mounting system much like what is found on all modern rifles utilizing a combination of shims and proper timing of the compensator in relation to the pistol slide.

PMM compensators utilize a single port design at the 12 O’clock position which maximizes the effectiveness of the comp in keeping the muzzle of the pistol down and allows the slide to “track” faster and more accurately for follow up shots.

During testing the PMM compensators were designed to work with most factory loaded ammunition but will yield the best function of the pistol with a +P or Nato spec cartridge. We have adapted our designs to integrate with and complement the design of your pistol so no longer does a compensator have to look like an afterthought slapped on the end of your pistol, rather it delivers unmatched performance and looks.

Includes:

1x PMM 9mm Staccato Comp

  • 7075 Aluminum finished in a type 3 class 2 Black hardcoat anodize.
  • No set screws, mounts like a muzzle device on a rifle.
  • Captured design ensures that even if your comp comes loose it will not come off or impede function.
  • Designed around the Staccato factory threaded barrel for P, C2, or C.

1x Shim Kit

  • 4 x 0.010″ Shim
  • 2 x 0.005″ Shim

Looks great, shoots great and was easy to get clocked with the shims included. Team at PMM has always been kind enough to answer all my questions around a variety of their products. Great team, great products.

The P model fit my Springfield prodigy perfect it required a little fitting to my dsc barrel but I love this product and it runs better than expected. 100% recommend

Received my comp for my Staccato P about 2 weeks ago and have about 300 rounds on it currently. Works great, easy to take on and off since I also shoot suppressed a lot with that gun. I took the factory O-Ring off and used a larger one to help time the compensator instead of metal bushings. Comp sits on tight and will not back off while shooting (this is something you have to play around with). Recoil and muzzle rise reduction is pretty noticeable, making follow up shots faster and more accurate. My Staccato P isn’t stock, but with this I get very similar performance to the Staccato XC with the flexibility of shooting suppressed in 30 seconds or less.

Purchased this comp for my C2. Installation was straight forward…if I were doing it again I would not purchase the installation block. With a vice you can simply cover the comp with a piece of leather and tighten it down…all the videos communicate not torquing it down super tight anyways…the Muschi block flexes when you over torque. I see this as a part of its design. I’ve had three range sessions with the comp…during the first session I had a number of failures to eject. I reached out to PMM Customer Service and they were quick to respond. I mentioned trying a competitors reduced power springs (ICE) and they encouraged me to try it out. The reduced power spring fixed the issue I was having…I was running 124gr round nose…2 sessions (700 rounds) since having issues and I’ve not had any problems. The comp looks like it belongs in the C2, it reduces recoil (my dot stays in the window while shooting), and the PMM customer service is 5 star!

I installed one on my P. I absolutely love it! It makes it even more of a nail driver than it was without it. Looks great on the pistol. The color is slightly off, but not a big deal. I’ll never take it off. Buy the mounting block and watch their video, makes install a breeze!
