The PMM Compensator uses a proprietary mounting system much like what is found on all modern rifles utilizing a combination of shims and proper timing of the compensator in relation to the pistol slide.
PMM compensators utilize a single port design at the 12 O’clock position which maximizes the effectiveness of the comp in keeping the muzzle of the pistol down and allows the slide to “track” faster and more accurately for follow up shots.
During testing the PMM compensators were designed to work with most factory loaded ammunition but will yield the best function of the pistol with a +P or Nato spec cartridge. We have adapted our designs to integrate with and complement the design of your pistol so no longer does a compensator have to look like an afterthought slapped on the end of your pistol, rather it delivers unmatched performance and looks.

- 7075 Aluminum finished in a type 3 class 2 Black hardcoat anodize.
- No set screws, mounts like a muzzle device on a rifle.
- Captured design ensures that even if your comp comes loose it will not come off or impede function.
- Designed around the Staccato factory threaded barrel for P, C2, or C.
1x Shim Kit
- 4 x 0.010″ Shim
- 2 x 0.005″ Shim
- 1 x 0.002″ Shim
- 1 x 0.05mL Vial Loctite 272
Optional Muschi Mounting Block (recommended)
The P & C2 comps are designed to fit 2021 + newer Staccato pistols, & the C comp is designed to fit the 2024 Staccato pistol.
Compatability:
- All comps: designed around Staccato OEM components.
- C comp: designed around the 2024 C. Is not compatible with the CS.
PSA: You must remove the o-ring from your barrel prior to comp installation

Ordered the PMM compensator for my Staccato P. Easy to install with supplied shims and aesthetically looks far better than the Dawson compensator. Had to do some tuning and settled on a 10 lbs. variable recoil spring to shoot 150 grain federal synthetics and 147 grain Defender Distribution Pro Series (V2) ammunition. Softer loads like 135 grain zeroed ammunition would not consistently cycle, even with a lighter recoil spring. With the Federal and Defender ammunition it shoots flat and dot tracking is effortless. Recently ran the PMM compensated Staccato P in an IDPA match and it performed flawlessly. Highly recommend the PMM compensator for those wanting to make an already great handgun even greater.

The pmm comp for the staccato p functions flawless cuts muzzle climb nearly in half and looks Aesthetically pleasing like it belongs there compared to the ice comp from Dawson functions flawless dont get me wrong but it looks like an after thought

I checked out all the comps I could find made for the P and settled on this one. Couldn’t be happier, it does what it’s supposed to do and it does it well. I’d say it’s close to half the muzzle rise over stock. The mounting block was a good purchase also.
