The FN SCAR gas jets are notorious for being a stubborn part to remove– they require a specific size flat head screw driver and are often carbon locked into place. PMM’s SCAR Gas Jet Tool allow the removal of a factory gas jet as well as give you the tool to replace it with one of our custom size stainless gas jets.
- Perfectly sized flat-head for factory jet removal
- 2.5mm hex head for installation of PMM gas jet
- Wrench flats on either side to aid in the removal of a stuck jet
- Quench & tempered 4140 pre-hardened steel for durability
- Coated in heavy manganese phosphate

The tool was not hardened and the driver flats sheared off quickly during removal. The hex end twisted in to a spiral during new jet install without too much force applied. Ended up drilling out the factory jet and using an EZ out. The tool is a great idea but poorly executed imho
