I bought this tool along with (3) PMM Scar17 gas jets. Everything I ordered from PMM was machined flawlessly.
The PMM gas jets are a must for the scar17 and their gas jet tool makes it a 5 minute ordeal to change them.
I couldn’t be happier with my PMM products!

The flat head part of the tool is so soft that it will completely bend/break if your gas screw has any resistance at all. You’re better off getting a 4mm slim screw driver from another source. The only saving grace for this tool is the hex part that can be used to install the M5x0.8mm set-screws drilled as gas jets or PMM’s gas jets.

This tool is awesome as usual from PMM. I can’t imagine changing SCAR jets without. IN addition there’s a 45 minute YOUTUBE by Jarod that walks you through the entire process. I had to change my jetting three times for my requirements and if you’d like yours done I’m one of Jarod’s best pupils, lol.. If your suppressing your SCAR or just a cleaning nut don’t be foolish. Buy this damn tool. It even has an integrated 8mm nut for easy use with a ratchet wrench.

I bought this tool after watching PMM’s YouTube video and their recommendation to use this tool when replacing factor gas jets. I was highly disappointed when I went to use the the tool following all instructions from the YouTube video, as one of the corners of the flat head of the tool broke off. Went to get a flat head small enough to fit the space allowed, to unscrew the factory gas jet after the tool broke only to find that the part that broke off the tool was stuck in the gas jet which prevented me from being able to unscrew it. Not knowing what to do next I called PMM and asked if they would be able to remove the factory gas jet. They said it would be a 12-16 week wait period until they could look at it, and not guaranteeing that they could remove the factory gas jet. I didn’t want to wait that long so I started researching online and I came a crossed an FN thread, which stated that the factory jet can be removed with a screw extractor. At this point I figured I would take a chance and see if that would work since I would have to send it in anyway. To my surprise that worked and I saved myself being out of my FN for 12-16 weeks and all the fees that would have went along with it to send it. I was able to extract it using the screw extractor and replace the jet. Save your time, headache and frustrations and just buy a $5 flat head screw driver that will fit, and if all else fails go to your local home depot and purchase a small screw extractor.
