- 7075 aluminum finished in a type 3 class 2 black hardcoat anodize.
- No set screws, mounts like a muzzle device on a rifle using the provided PMM shim kit.

- 4 x 0.010″ Shim
- 2 x 0.005″ Shim
- 1 x 0.002″ Shim
- 1 x 0.05mL Vial Loctite 272

Barrel Compatibility:
- Option “Aftermarket Barrels” was tested for fitment with the following 1/2 x 28 threaded barrels for M&P 9: Faxon, SilencerCo, Ed Brown, & Griffin Armament. Adds approximately 1″ to overall length.

- Option “Factory Threaded Barrel”, was designed around the OEM Smith & Wesson M&P 9 2.0 1/2 x 28 threaded barrel. Adds approximately 1.25″ to overall length.
Slide Compatibility:
These comps fit both the 1.0 & 2.0 slides. The deciding factor for which option to choose depends only on the threaded barrel you are using to get the most optimal fit

I bought this for my m&p 2.0 compact and was a little nervous because I’ve only seen it used on m&p full sized 9mm but it fits perfect on the 2.0 compact and looks and functions awesome! *I used a blacklist threaded barrel for mine.

The quality of the machining is top shelf. The shim system is a better idea, in my opinion, than set screws that mar up your barrel. The only thing that I didn’t like is the gap between the comp and slide face when used with a factory 2.0 threaded barrel. That is no fault of PMM and is easily fixed. Overall, great experience and a great product for a great price. I would recommend PMM and I will buy from them.again in the future.

Purchased for 2.0c. With Faxon barrel, it does not screw flush to the slide, leaving a 1/2 inch gap between comp and slide. Would have been nice to know that up front in description notes or a disclaimer but can’t knock the product itself for that. I’m sure it’s a quality product that performs as advertised but I’ll have to wait to purchase a new barrel before testing. Purchasing and shipping process experiences were both positive.

I attached the compensator to my M&P 2.0 9mm in around 10 minutes to a Apex Tactical threaded barrel. Along with a Trijicon RMR RDS & the PMM comp, my shot to shot times are significantly faster. With the compensator, my red dot barely moves off of target.

I like this comp a lot! It blends perfectly with the M&P slide and looks perfect. More important is performance. Still evaluating, but early impressions are very positive. I needed to reach out to PMM customer service for an issue that was not of their making and they’re GREAT!! I’m a customer for life…
